I went into the kitchen to pour myself a cup of Orange Juice before I hit my wake up cigarette and reviewed call log to see my missed calls. As I scrolled down my call log, I noticed that had I missed a call from some "404" number. I didn’t know exactly who it was since all of my contacts would have a DC or Maryland number. I answered the phone and after 3 seconds of silence, the caller hung up. I grabbed the Carton of Orange from the fridge, and after a second, something dawned on me. There was a guy that came to the car wash last Saturday with this beat up ass all white Toyota Camry. While they were cleaning his car, he asked one of my workers to speak to the owner and I met him in the lobby beside the vending machines that we had just installed. He introduced himself to me and handed me a business card, which should still be inside the left pocket of my tan khakis. I can recall looking at the card and being confused since we were in DC and the area code on the card was 404, which was unfamiliar. I reached over to the corner of the couch where I had laid them after undressing that night after work, and got the business card out. "Antonio Beckham...(404)-555-2647" I read, realizing that the numbers matched. "How the fuck did he get my number?" I thought, trying hard to recall the conversation that we had that day. I remembered him telling me something about being a financial adviser or something. I couldn’t remember everything, but I could recall me feeling like he was a snake. It was just something off about him; he looked like one of those scammy-ass "get-rich-quick", ponzi scheme typed of dudes that I would never even let get close to my business.
